Set Up CalDAV Connection in Mozilla Thunderbird
In Thunderbird, you can synchronize your calendars with those stored at mail.de. Here we show you how to configure this synchronization.
Since Thunderbird 78, no add-on is required as calendar synchronization is built into Thunderbird.
- Click on "Calendar" in the left sidebar to switch to Thunderbird's calendar view.
- Click the "+" to add a new calendar.
- In the dialog that appears, select "On the Network" and click "Next".
- Enter your username and calendar server address:
- In the next dialog, enter your mail.de password.
- After clicking "OK", a list of all your existing mail.de calendars appears. Select the calendars you want to synchronize by checking the boxes.
- Click "Properties" to change the calendar name, color, update interval, notifications, etc.
- After clicking "OK" and then "Subscribe", your selected calendars will appear on the left, and all
events will be displayed in the main calendar view. From now on, all changes in your Thunderbird calendars will be
synchronized with the mail.de calendar server at the set interval.
